Our vineyards in Valpolicella
Our vineyards are located in San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico region.
Our vineyard is a balanced mix of vines of different ages and different layouts and implants: pergola, pergoletta veronese and guyot. They feed on a clay soil, a morainic deposit that ages back to the ancient glacier of Lake Garda and the Adige River flood plain.
The vines have a north-south orientation in order to take advantage of wind ventilation and thermal excursion, provided by the pre-alpine valleys surrounding the area.
The grape varieties, grown in proportion for the best Valpolicella blend, include the strong Corvinone, the harmonic Corvina, the perfumed Rondinella and other local varietals that allow us to best characterize our wines.
